Orb
One living view of everything your money is doing on-chain.
A client approached me with a brief to make a multi-wallet, deeply data-intensive crypto UX as seamless and as concierge-like as possible. The audience: high-net-worth crypto users, professional traders and DeFi power users — people managing serious positions across serious complexity.
THE BRIEF
The underlying problem is fragmentation. As a high-net-worth crypto user you live across a dozen open tabs, portfolio data in sheets, alerts in Telegram, and different agents running in the background — and it is impossible to unify all of it into a single view. The Orb set out to do exactly that, in a very simple and very beautiful user experience: less trading terminal, more private bank.
THE WORK
The answer is the Orb itself — a living, shader-driven surface that sits at the centre of the product and reflects the state of everything connected to it. Agents watch your wallets, the market and the social layer, and surface one insight at a time as a card over the orb: plain language, one clear action, one tap to execute. A mood slider — safe, balanced, bold — re-lights the entire interface and re-ranks what the agents bring you, so risk appetite becomes something you feel rather than a settings page.
The work was built as a real WebGL prototype rather than static screens: React, three.js and custom shaders for the orb, with full swap, yield, LP and rebalance flows behind it. The session flow, the design system and the live insight component on this page all come straight out of that build — the same one you can open from the menu.
